The Short Version
The Three Ransoms
A bank login. A monthly payment. And permission to study what you buy. MyneWallet asks for none of them.
Bank aggregation hands a third party a live, categorised feed of everything you buy, everywhere, forever — the most commercially valuable document about you in existence, sitting on a server you have never seen.
A tool you open daily makes a superb subscription. Miss one payment and the app you fed for three years locks you out of your own history. That is not owning software. That is renting your own numbers.
Ad interstitials, upsell modals, sync spinners. Every second between I spent money and it is logged is a second you will eventually stop spending. An untracked week is what actually breaks a budget.
Buy It Once. Log In Seconds. Keep Everything.
How It Works
Most finance apps do many things adequately. This one does three things and holds itself to a standard on each.
Every dollar that lands gets a destination. Rent, groceries, the trip in March, the card you are digging out of. When To Assign reaches zero, every envelope on screen is a promise already funded.
A tracker only works if you open it. This one is engineered around one number: the seconds between spending and logging. Two taps for the common case, the full form when you want it, no network round-trip either way.
Net Worth and Obligations in one place: what you own, what you owe, what is scheduled to leave, and where the balance lands in thirty days — computed from real obligations, never a hand-waved average.
The Vault
We do not have any. Your ledger lives in an encrypted database inside your device’s app sandbox, and The Brink Labs operates no server that receives it. That is the difference between a privacy policy and a privacy architecture: one is a promise about what a company will choose to do, the other is a statement about what is possible.
Transparent Pricing
The core engine is free, permanently. If you want the deep analytics and unlimited structure, you buy it once — and it is yours for good.
Not a trial and not a crippled demo. A complete, private, offline money manager that never expires and never shows you an advertisement.
Every limit removed and every future capability included. Tied to your Google account, so it survives reinstalls and new phones.
Try The Method First
The same architecture, running in your browser. Allocate a budget, price your subscriptions, find your runway or measure your net worth — without downloading anything or telling us who you are.

Yes. MyneWallet is free to download and the core budgeting and tracking engine is free permanently — no advertisements, no trial expiry. PRO is an optional one-time purchase that removes every limit. It is not a subscription and it never renews.
Completely. MyneWallet is offline-first by architecture. There is no account and no sign-in, and every feature — including the full analysis engine — works with the device in airplane mode. The app touches the network only if you personally enable Google Drive backup or make a purchase through Google Play.
No. MyneWallet never asks for bank credentials and uses no aggregation service. That is deliberate twice over: continuous read access to your accounts is the single largest privacy concession in personal finance software, and the two seconds spent logging a purchase are the moment you actually notice it. The app is engineered to make those two seconds as fast as physically possible, not to remove them.
In an encrypted SQLite database inside your device’s private application sandbox, which Android isolates from every other app. The Brink Labs operates no servers holding your financial data, so no copy of your ledger exists outside your phone unless you choose to back it up to your own Google Drive.
You restore from a backup you control. MyneWallet encrypts your entire vault on-device with AES-256 and a randomised initialisation vector, then uploads that ciphertext to your own Google Drive. Restoring on a new phone is a two-tap operation. You can also export a plain CSV at any time and keep it wherever you like.
No. PRO is a single one-time unlock tied to your Google account. It never expires, it survives a reinstall and a new phone, and new PRO capabilities added in future updates are included rather than sold again.
Zero-based budgeting means assigning every unit of income a specific job before it is spent, until the amount left to assign reaches zero. Instead of reviewing what you spent after the fact, you decide in advance what each dollar is for. MyneWallet implements it with envelopes, an Auto Assign tool, and a live To Assign counter that reads zero when the plan is complete.
Yes. MyneWallet imports CSV files and adopts the categories it finds automatically, ranked by how material each one actually is, so your history arrives intact rather than collapsing into an uncategorised bucket. Export is equally complete — CSV for your raw data, PDF for a formatted statement.
No. There is no advertising network, no attribution SDK and no product-analytics SDK in the app, and Google’s Firebase suite is not integrated. Do not take our word for it: put the app behind a network monitor, or simply use it in airplane mode, where nothing degrades.
Android, through Google Play. There is no web version and no cross-device sync — a direct and deliberate consequence of storing your ledger only on your own device.
From one-time PRO unlocks, and from nothing else. There is no advertising inventory, no data brokerage, no affiliate placement and no recurring revenue to protect, which is precisely why the app can afford to work entirely offline. A business model that depends on your attention or your ledger produces different software, and the difference is visible in every screen.
No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no password. You open the app and start budgeting. An account exists to identify you to a server, and there is no server here to be identified to — the only optional Google sign-in is for backing up an already-encrypted file to your own Google Drive.
The free tier allows 3 active accounts, 7 active envelopes, 10 active budget categories and 4 active obligations, with a 3-month rolling ledger and 1 month of analytics in each of the Category, Nature, Tag and Heatmap sections. Tags are unlimited, nothing is time-limited, and there are no advertisements. The one-time PRO unlock removes every one of those caps and extends analytics to 12 months per section alongside full historical ledger analysis.
Not currently. MyneWallet is an Android application distributed through Google Play, and there is no iOS release, no web application and no desktop client at this time.
